'Over a decade ago, Meredith Thayer found herself studying Interior Design at RISD looking to make a change after years of acting as both Creative Director and Director of Product Development & Design at her family’s textile company, Colonial Mills.
She dove into the world of interior design, transforming her practice from a side-project to her main focus in just a few years. Through her collaboration with clients, she quickly discovered that she was always designing custom rugs for her interiors. Meredith launched her first permanent collection of custom rugs, baskets, and ottomans in 2016. Utilizing grounded materials, colors reflective of the natural world, timeless motifs, Thayer designs have been embraced by the design community. With features in Design New England, Boston Home, Modern Luxury and Lonny, Meredith is successfully bringing her vision of beautiful living to homes nationwide'
